What is a VNA 3-way forklift truck?
A VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) 3-way forklift is a specialized type of forklift designed for highly efficient and precise operation in very narrow aisles. These forklifts are specifically engineered to navigate aisles that are considerably narrower than those typically managed by standard reach trucks or even traditional VNA forklifts.
The "3-way" designation refers to the forklift's unique ability to operate in three directions:
Forward and Backward: Like traditional forklifts, a VNA 3-way forklift can move forward and backward along the aisle to access storage locations.
Sideways: Unlike conventional forklifts, VNA 3-way forklifts have the capability to travel sideways. This lateral movement allows for precise positioning of the forklift, enabling operators to access pallets stored in very narrow aisles.
